Nature Walk
/This week we will be working in teams to create interesting fairy houses/gardens around our outdoor classroom. Today we went on a nature walk to collect materials for our fairy gardens. We will be using natural materials, modeling clay, and other remeda materials as we create these whimsical homes. Students are welcome to bring in small items from home to add to their creations. Today we got to hear student presentations about Julia Child and Helen Keller. We also enjoyed the nearly empty campus as we had our picnics and played tag amongst the trees. We wrote birthday letters to Nora and met in our math groups today as well.
